Teachers in Grades K - 6th will explore the Sentence Deconstruction routine. This method is designed to support integrated and designated ELD instruction. Through the sentence deconstruction routine, students analyze complex sentences in order to derive meaning by evaluating word and language choices. Participants in this session will engage in analysis of video clips from colleagues, observe a live demonstration, collaborate with peers, and receive resources to implement the sentence deconstruction routine in classroom instruction across content areas.
